Which cam?
I am torn between cams. I am thinking about going with the G5x3 or the Magic stick 3. I have a 346 LS1 with a LS6 intake, Long Tubes, underdrive pulley, 4.10's, six speed, and a ported throttle body. My buddy has a g5x3 and I was really impressed! The Magic stick 3 has a good rpm range. This is mostly a daily driven summer car. What do you guys think?
Feel free to add a different cam!

In other threads posing the same question, I've seen claims that the MS3 is more of a top-end only cam, where the G5X3 is designed to build power all over. Some of that could be changed by advancing the MS3 upon installation.
But if you are talking about a street car (primarily) then I would go for the one that benefits the majority of your use, over the one that may show some gains 5% of the time.

MS3 cam only, auto with 3.42 gear & 17" MT drag radial, I ran consistant 10.8-10.9, and daily drove the car. Dyno numbers aren't always everything.
Good numbers - damn good numbers
If your going to compare the 2 , G5X3 should sit aside and let its big brother tango with the MS3 big brother goes by G5X4 . Believe theirs also G5XX's .
The few who voted custom grind versions need to enter in specs .

I have choosen Thunder Racings 230/224.
not even close to what I thought I was going to get. I guess thats the fun in building a car.
I went with the 230/224 so I could keep my 918 springs and what not. I also didn't want a high power band because this will be a mostly street car that I will drive everyday in the summer.
Thanks for the imput guys!

i like how the ms3 sounds. sounds nice. correct me if im wrong though guys, but i heard the ms3 is more peaky cam, while the g5xx cams offer more low end torque than the ms3 and still peaky.
