Default H/C install instructions

Hi everyone I am going to be installing a H/C package and a new Torque Converter. So I feel it would be easier if I took the motor and trans out from the bottom. Is there any written articles of people doing that. I have installed a cam in my brothers LS1 and have put all the parts on my car, so I know i can do it, just never done it before and have never seen write ups about it. Any help would be appreciated.

Reason I don't want to install H/C in the car b/c then I will have to pull the transmission out of the car after playing with the motor. That is why I want to pull out everything together. Thanks WS6man but I have had that placed saved in my favorites for a while.

Chapter 4 of the book: How to Build High-Performance Chevy LS1/LS6 V-8's" explains how to remove and re-install the engine from the bottom.

Lot of pictures to use as a guide and a good write-up as well. You can get the book at Barnes and Noble, Books-A-Million, ect.

This is a video on taking the motor-trans out. It is a very large file. I would download it at night and run from your PC. I think it came from HorsePower TV.

Sorry...no sound clip. Zach from TSP posted one.

I will say it has a nice lope to it. You will turn heads. I have mine running through the Borla so its nice and quite, but when I open the cutout it sounds fantastic.

If you go with the T3 you wont be dissappointed in both power and sound.
