Well it was made up but the local shop doing the machine work is swaying me away from it.

I wish we had more places to get E85 'round here. Would be cool to play around with a high compression combo like you are talking about. I wonder what DCR E85 will tolerate?

So it would be E85 only?
Man I would be afraid of not being able to find fuel somewhere when I would really need it.

Could you run C10 instead of E85 or is there that much difference in volume needed?

I'll start with you HAHA .

The power differance is unnoticiable. I need twice the fuel system I have. It's bad on the injectors. You can't spray it. There is no real benefit of it in their thoughts.

So is the camaro back up and running? What did you find wrong with it?

So the plan was E85 mainly but have more tunes for gas, and maybe a 110 or 100 race gas tune also in case of a source problem. (I tune myself)

I guess I'm worried about washing down the cylinders with the e85 also.

They are saying the power difference between 11.5:1 and 13.5:1 will not be noticable???

were you not already going to run -8 line? and a large pump?

I do not beleive its harder on injectors. I have not found any proof of this.

Is this the same place that told me on the phone that my trex is a piece of **** cam??
You should use their seceret fuel to go with their seceret cam

I would still say go with it. If you want to make big power on NA I think you will need more then 11.5:1 and racegas is so expensive.

I have not looked at my car yet. But im pretty sure the water pump wasnt on

With enough coin you, well I could make a SICK E85 motor. I wish I had it around here.

What would make the E85 so sick to build a motor?
Is it beause it is high octane?

Not just high octane, but cooler burning. The lower energy content of Alcohol more or less requires more compression to make up the difference in power, but the higher octane more than makes up for it.

With proper combustion, there is no reason you should have to worry about washing down the cylinder walls. Oil analysis would tell you whether or not it was going to be a problem.

Good choice. You can run a stand alone system for the spray.

What needs to done for fuel system to make a non-e85 goat work, gas tank, fuel lines, seals?

Been thinking about high comp heads with FTI cam, making alky goat. along the same lines of thinking with 1meangto.
