Default Another Cam ?

Whats a good cam to run on an LS1 with stock heads, and and LS6 intake...There will be a 3200 stall converter and transcooler already in place and I would be buying a a valvetrain kit along with the cam to make sure the engine can handle it...What would be the ideal size cam, and would you be able to here a lope at idle? I really like that sound, but I don't have the money to dump into heads and all that stuff, I am just a power hungry college student, so I want to make the most of my budget...Thanks

There's quite a few great cam-only cams out there. If you want help in that decision, check the drag racing forum below. It tells fastest cam-only times.

The cam-only locals are happiest with the G5X2, G5X3, and MS3. I watched a cam, header, cutout MS3 A4 put down 389hp on the dyno a couple of weeks ago. But I think your goals will determine your cam more than anything.

Do you want a top-end (high revs only) beast? Or do you prefer a wider, lower powerband?

Any other ones, that seems kinda big for stock heads and only a 3200 stall...

I'd go bigger than 224 esp. w/ a 3200 stall. I'd say the TSP 233/239 would be great, awesome lope, and the power you'll love!

It's what I have, stock heads/TB. And ur sig says u already have the LTs and exhaust to go w/ it. Go w/ it you'll love it. I have a m6 too, and it drives good, you'll definitely need a tune also.

230-236 range most likely will work fine with that converter.

There are people running the MS4 (239/242) on stock heads and intake.

Go 233/239, you won't go wrong!
I don't think I would go w/ ms4 unless I had heads, just my .02.
