i have a 224 on 112 with a tsp mail tune and runs great

That is precisely what we have. It surges during initial cold start-up, and sometimes during backing up, otherwise the car lopes like a MFer. I daily drive the car 25 miles too and from work.

I like the X1, just have some tuning issues.

Here is our Cam/bolt-on (no UD pulley) dyno sheet with the X1/3400 stall:

Final numbers are in green. 388/386 Note this is WITHOUT the ASP pulley and Stage II heads.

I have been told that my cam actually has -1* of overlap? The grind # is XER273HR-14. I am spraying a 150 and have been for awhile. That car comes alive when I get into the higher RPM's. I'm just a really big fan of the 114 LSA and minimal overlap. Makes for a great sleeper!!! I think I'm gonna have Nitro Dave do a hidden direct port setup!!!

You're tune needs adjusting. I can tell you now your base spark and airflow tables are probably off.
