Tr 224/224
Now I'm pretty sure that’s the cam I want to go for but I'm worried what it's going to sound like. After I added my Kooks LT's to my Borla cat-back right around the 2200-3000 rpm range my car gets raspy and sound like **** then goes back to sounds like a LS1 after that. So I'm wondering what it going to sound like hoping to get rid of the raspy range instead of increasing it. So how about you guys give me some advice.

And as most ladies will tell you it's how you use it that matters most.
Same rule applies to cams. I can tell you from experience with my TR 224 it performed as good or better than some of those "big cams". I was able to make 432 RWHP and run mid to high 11's (full weight car) with great street manners and fun factor. I surprised many "big" cam cars on the street and track with peaky power curves and shitty street manners. IMHO big sticks work great for the track and the movies, but bigger isn't always better. I've learned that a well matched combination is what works.
