safer at high rpms?
I am trying to find out want needs to be done so that the engine can be safely and reliably run up to about 7k rpm. I am rebuilding my old engine and the plan so far is to do a trex cam, new valve springs, ARP rod bolts, ARP head bolts, hardened push rods, new spark plugs, bigger injectors and fuel pump, and some tuning. Is their anything else I need to add that will make this engine more effective and more reliable at higher rpm. Thanks ahead of time for any responces I get.

No need to upgrade the connecting rods, the weakest part of any rod is the fasteners, just go with ARP rod bolts, a good spring like comp 921's. ti-retainers, hardened pushrods and maybe a set of good lifters since you'll have the motor apart anyway.
