I know you've been asked a lot of questions already, but what are the combustion chamber sizes? Are the heads milled at all? The reason I ask is I have a TR224/224 that I love, but want to cut down my quench area but I'm not sure I can do it with my current set of heads. I'm not sure how much they were milled and I'm concerned about PtoV if I were to run a cometic 0.040" set of gaskets.

Ok guys here we go

the last set that shipped went
.300207
.400 256
.500 292
.600 314
*this was a 2.02 valve setup

You can still get the cylinder head with stock size valves for running large camshafts.
The power output from the two cylinder heads are very similar.

We will still deck any customers head to their requested chamber size. Standard size is 64cc. The stock size valve setups will still be ms4 friendly with the .015" cut off the deck!

I hope I hit everyone's questions.

With the 2.02" intake valve in the head you will have almost stock clearance! As a result you could run the cometic .040" gaskets & still deck the heads a easy .020" on top of that!!

Ben we use a newen cnc seat & guide machine. The system uses a single point cutter that allows us to instantly change any aspect of the valve job that we want to adjust. As a result we have access to the most advanced machinery when it comes to developing a valve job & tweaking combinations. The current intake port only uses a radiuas at the point the top angle merges into the 90 degree that opens up the chamber.

Thanks guys! Glad to see continuing improvements to a great product already!

When can we expect a reflection of this change on the website?

DAMN son, you win the award for the most "colorful" post

on a serious note, I have the "old" style LS6 heads (they are 2 months old or so) so is there a real problem with the rocker arm pedastal breaking? I have only heard of this once on a ported stock casting and I think the guy had a pretty extreme set up.

p.s. LOL the evil CNC monster didnt eat mine thank god! they look bad ***, if only i could have the time to install them!

Hey Pimp...

There is a sponsor feedback forum elsewhere on the board. Sorry about your bad luck, but most of us want to keep this on topic.

It was some very usefull information if your planning on dumping 1100 bones into TSP's heads.

I would agree, I think people should be able to post their personal experience in a thread without it having to be in a specific forum. A lot of people would like all the information to make an educated decision and don't always search and read the dedicated forum. Should they, yes, do they....no. I can see if someone got out of hand and started flaming the sponsors but if someone came in and just stated facts I don't see why there should be any problem. I know TSP has had some problems in the past with a couple parts, but they have refunded, swapped out, and to me made things right and continue to push the envelope on performance products at a great price. I didn't start this to bash TSP, hell my car is stitting in their shop right now getting quite a bit of work done. I just think if people act like adults that they should be able to post their experiences with products without it offending the sponsors, and the same goes for the sponsors, I am sure they can take some criticism and figure out how to not let it happen again. This public information sharing will only lead to better products and customer service IMHO.

I am currently running the original Torquer cam, and I like it. Would these heads be a good addition or should I look at something else, like a 5.3 head.

Very nice. Jason, could you shoot me a PM for applying this to a set of 243 heads that I already have? Also, any larger valve choices? I intend to use the heads on a 408 nitrous motor.

Props to PRC/Texas Speed for their awesome results and aggressive pricing!

Here is a comparison to some "trick flow" heads with 2.04" intake valves listed for $2400.
Flowbench Results:

0.100 68 55
0.200 142 115
0.300 215 185
0.400 260 230
0.500 300 251
0.600 320 259

I'm wondering how the 5.3's flow w/ 2.02 intake valves instead of the 2.04

and then that compaired to the 2.02 ls6.

Just when you think your getting to know the products out there they gotta go and do something like this.......

Good job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The new runners are smaller, so I'm guessing it's going to be pretty hard for him to go back in and add aluminum with the new program.
