So you want to drop it down...Those are the 6.0L heads aren't they?

Stock is 10.5:1 (That is static CR).
Are you planning on Forced Induction or something? If so you might want to drop your compression via pistons. Because if you need to drop it enough to crank the boost up.....bye-bye bottom end.

Stock is 10.5 on the LS6. The LS1 motor is 10.1:1. Some people have had amazing luck with stock bottom ends and low compression. A lot in the tune and how you beat on it.

Oh yeah, 6.0L heads should put you around 9.5:1
