Will cam make car run rich or lean?

Will cam make car run rich or lean? The FLP's made my car run very rich, I had to set the base on my MAFT to 10% lean. I am planning on installing either a HOTCAM or B1 this winter. Of course i will ATAP it after the install and readjust as needed, but i would like to know what i'm in for!

Probably because their cars werent used to the settings of all the new parts...and you have to make adjustments until the CPU learns it...it takes time to tune everything to how you want it..usually cleaning out the airway into the engine will lean the car out...

Re: Will cam make car run rich or lean? belive it or not, my thunder cam leaned my car out. before the cam, i was running on the verge of rich, now im on the verge of lean by my gauge. <img src="graemlins/formula.gif" border="0" alt="[Pontiac]" />
