Default K-Motion K-800 Valve springs

Im upgrading the springs on my SII heads and these are one of the options Ive been researching.

From what I understand ARE is installing these on their heads.

The only thing that concerns me is the seat pressures look kinda high.

155lbs@1.850in & 450lbs@1.150in coil bind @1.085in

Are these springs safe and a good choice to use on my heads?

Thanks

I've got them on mine from ARE. I've only had the heads for 4 weeks now, but no problems at all here. I've got pictures of them at my site.

MMS used to put those springs on their heads but has since stopped I believe.

Without know what cam and rpm you are taking your engine to it is not possible to make a determination. Does sound like a lot of seat load for any of the hydraulic LS1 cams that produce less than .560 lift and run under 6600 rpm. The more seat and full lift load you have will wear out your valve train faster.
