Default Those with B&B Triflows...

How do you like it? I just ordered one with quad tips. I am hoping that it give a mellow tone without any drone...would this be a correct assumption? I already know it looks amazing!!!

Thanks,

Scott

Yes, you are correct. It has a mellow deep tone at idle and a nice smooth almost exotic like tone at WOT. The best part is that there is no droning. That was the main reason I went with the B&B. Only downside is that for the $ I paid, the worksmanship could've been better. But overall, I'm glad I bought it.

There are definitly some issues with fit, and getting the dang thing level has taken me a couple of months, but finely done, and it looks and sounds great, it was just painfull trimming the bumper on my TA so the tips wouldn't rub

You picked a hell of a catback exhaust system. I've had mine for more than a year now and I love it. It really does have that exotic sound to it like mentioned above. The only problem with mine was that the tips would sag because they are soo heavy. You can either keep tightening them, or have it spot welded at the junction of the axle piece into the muffler.

After a while you'll probably think it's a little too quiet, so get some headers to open it up a bit I did and it made quite a difference at WOT. I also installed a cutout on mine. I have Pictures of it, as well as some sound clips (with headers) on my website. Check it out

For fitment you have to bend the metal bracket that keeps the exhaust up. Its in the shape of the V(the bracket is) Take it and bend it in closer together and it will bring the exhaust up more. Mine sagged some on the left side. Mine is straight now.

I also ported the tips, mine came with those stupid restrictor type plates in them that had a exhaust outlet of 1"x2" in each tip.

I've had mine on my TA for three years now, and I love it. The Sound is agressive but not annoying, best sounding of the quiet cat backs IMOHO.

This restriction you are referring to, where is it located? Inside the tips, or further back??? Is it really that much of a restiction? I would think the most restrictive part of my exhaust is the smaller pipes and muffler. Just me thinking out loud.

Thanks, I cant wait to hear after all your replies!!!

Some B&B's have been known to come with these little plates in the tips. Some don't. I chose to port mine out, you dont have too. They arnt really restrictive, I didnt mean to use that word.

The catback is 3" then after the muffler it goes into 2 pipes into the quad tips. Theres nothing restrictive about this catback.

I have it on my TA and I wouldnt change it for anything. I didnt mind having to cut the bumper, you dont notice it anyway. The quad tips fit great on the TA. Anyway, I love the sound and NO DRONE. You made a good choice.
