Default which cam should I go with?

I'm thinking of doing a cam next spring. I have no idea where to start. Right now I have 327RWHP and 344.7 torque w/ only a lid and catback on my Z28. I plan on leaving my heads stock. I want a cam that has good driveability, but gives decent power. I dont really want to rev my motor much over 6400 or so. I dont mind if it has a slight lope at idle, as long as I dont have to do reprogramming, or tuning. What else do I need to get with the cam. I know I'd need new springs, and pushrods, but what else?? And what would be an estimated total cost? I have someone locally here that could help with the install. I've rebuilt an old ford 302, and did a cam on that. I had a .472, .496 lift and 214, 224 duration on that motor, and I loved the way it sounded at idle.
