Default Anyone have a proven PCV system

PCV systems seem to be never ending, has anyone made a system that elminates the oil in the intake problem?

Excessive moisture in the oil.

I'm running an air/water separator that works well, but it's from Lowe's, and the bottom of it doesn't totally seal. I need to find a GOOD one, like off a hospital ventilator.

well, if you go with a breather, all that oil that was going in you intake will now go in your breather, and eventaully blow a film of oil out under your hood. That is unless you clean it regularly...

I think i am going to try that 75$ catch can that is floating around in one of these threads...

I've deleted mine as of yesterday. I have a LS6 valley, AMW catch can, and a Metco and still get oil in the intake. New setup has the valve covers connected, LS6 valley connected to the valve cover where the fresh air line was, and a metco on the passenger side. I'll beat on it this weekend and see how it does.

Phil,

THe PCV system on my is not bad. The little in-line fuel filters (indicators) haven't been cleaned since I put them on. They've got about 4k on them now. If there was any oil in the FAST it was probably there from before this setup.

So, 2001+ LS1's do NOT get the LS6 valley cover with the LS6 manifold? I was about to create a threadfor this question.

Phil I've tried every possible combination, except use of the vacuum pump. Did you vac pump setup not turn out well?

I just took of my intake and found oil. I think it is from rocker bolts or decel. I dont think you can win the oil in the intake thing.

ls1408cp, to use a setup like yours, I'd guess you would either need to have a sheet metal intake or carb style intake like yours in order to have room.
