Default Comp 212/218 or 216/220 users...

What rpm are your shift points at (A4) or where do you shift (M6)? I’m looking at one of these two cams to use with stock heads and just MACs + the common bolt-ons and I’m wondering where you guys are shifting. I know I should go based on a dyno chart, but I’ll just like to get a good idea of where everyone else is at.

My shift light is set at 6500 (I have a custom ECM program by Ed Wright). My star stage 2 bites hard at that rpm and my 4:10 seem to like it too!

Wow, sounds like you guys shift pretty high! I thought with these cams and their relatively low lift numbers that a shift in the 6200 to 6300 rpm range would be good. What about if you had stock heads? Would 6200 be good, or should I try 6300+?
