RP isnt that great. I would not use it personally. 0-30 German Castrol runs about 5.50 a qt on avg.

That could be the problem with mine cause that says after it gets miles on the oil it gets better. The O-ring seal between the oil pump screen and the oil pump may be cut, causing aeration of the oil.

So anyone think it could be the pump o-ring? It's not really a tick, more like a rattle. And wouldn't the bad o-ring effect oil pressure?

Have you checked your PCV valve? When they go bad they let off and light rattling/tapping noise.
