Hey guys, when I eventually get my H/C/I done I want to get some custom tuning ( maybe dyno tuned even? ). I want to TAKE my car to be tuned. Who do you guys like to use? Is there anyone remotley close to Indiana? Does LS1 Motorsports do custom tuning ( i think they're close ). Hopefully you guys see what i'm getting at. Thanks.

Ed is the only way to go....and I have tried the other options available. If possible, make the trip to Tulsa and get a dyno session with Ed...it will be worth your time.

Call tom Izzo at LS1Speed. He's in the chicago burbs.
LS1Edit, aka the holy graille of tuning, will be out soon (we all hope) and will open up options. Until then, mail order can get pretty close on common H&C packages and can be further refinded with MAFT if you visit a wideband dyno.

Absolutely, Ed will take the time and do the job right. A man that can get this badboy to idle and run the number gets my vote any day of the week.

Ed's tuning is not always that great. I've met people that weren't happy with it. I'm having MTI do mine...

I can second that sending to Ed is a good move. It is no big deal to take the computer out. When I got mine back, and took to the track that day, I was    TM was gone, and my setup was optimized. Times went from 12.95 to 12.14, 60 was 2.15 to 1.66, so I figure about 4-5 tenths for that, and that still leaves 3 tenths left. Not a bad improvement for 30 min bolt on.

I never sent my PCM out. The custom programming I purchased through ARE arrived on a Superchips MicroTuner. I just connected it and downloaded the programming.

I would give Superchips a call the people there are pretty nice guys and they can make you a custom hand held tunner which is good if you ever want to go back to stock. They are working on one for me and a friend as I speak call 888-227-2447 ext 212 tell Brian that Mike Hawkins gave you the number

Ed is the man!
Ed tuned my low compression, heads/cam, stroker, LS6 intake/MAF, and twin turbo'ed car to run idle, cold start, part throttle, and WOT like a dream. Stock idle, reasonable gas mileage, and better than expected performance. If he can do that I'm sure he can tune your car.
