Default Need sensor that goes in the Air lid.

I need the sensor that goes in the Air lid for my 2000 Trans AM WS6. There are two sensors in front, one goes to the MAF and te other one to the air lid. WHere can I find this?

You can get this at the dealer for around $13. I don't have the part # with me but it's called IAT Sensor (Incoming Air Temperature Sensor). LS1 Motorsports (one of our sponsors) sells these installed in their lids if you want. Not sure if they'll sell you one without the lid but check it out:

www.ls1motorsports.com

Goto LS1 F body then induction

I bought the WS6 kit and its not in there. I bought the car wrecked so the stock air lid was missing.

The car came with no air box nor MAF. I bought the Ram Air box and a MAF but just found out that the lid is suppossed to have an IAT. The is also a little panel, about 2 by 2 inches, in front the gear box where there is a cable but nothing hooked up to it. Any ideas?

I work at LS1 Motorsports we can sell you what you need and send it to you they are $19.97. You need the sensor and the rubber piece that holds the sensor in. it will cost about $27.50 w/shipping.

Or you can get it from your dealer part#

GM12160244 Sensor
GM24504388 Rubber

If you mean this is in front of your shifter, then it was for traction control.
