Please Help with cam for ls1 382
ive tried a few times with comp to get a custom cam spec and no luck so far.
Heres my combo
382 stroker
3.905 bore
-8.6 dish piston
.042 gasket
4.0 bore gasket
6.125 rod
.007 out of hole
TEA stage 2 5.3 heads 59cc
ls6 intake
bo white t.b.
pacesetters
6 speed
Ive got a 240/248 609/615 112+4 cam now with a 48* intake closing
I want a high reving (7k) street car with pump gas. drivability isnt on my top priority list. basically needing a good mid/high cam that will pull good on the steet.
Should I change cams or stay with what i have?

I agree. I posted what I did because thats the cam I would run with a production intake and TB(ported or not). Anything larger is not seen in the gains department IMO. A Victor style intake and a NW 90mm would be the way to go......with a solid roller cam . IMO the point of going to solid roller is were you are at
