Default Q about injectors?

So far i have a cam + bolt on car that makes 395 to the wheels. over X mas break ill be installing 243 heads, and possibly a fast 90/90 setup.

Now my question is, is that too much to run with stock 01 injectors? would i need to get some bigger ones? if i would need bigger injectors would it be possible to run that set up for a while w/out them? any imput would be appreciated. thanks

I will guess that you will be running near 90% DC at least. I think the 01s have the larger injectors, 28.4#/hr, but even then you are pushing it. 32#/hr injectorss would be nearly ideal for your peak power demand and idle.

98's have the large injectors...but anyway i think you would need to get bigger injectors to maximize your combo

no it wouldn't really hurt..i have a friend running a t-rex with heads on stock injectors and his car runs fine but he knows he could get more out of it by going with bigger injectors so he will be getting some soon

The 2001-2002 Ls1 I have seen came with 28.8 pound injectors. They are the same as the one the 405hp Zo6 Vettes came with.
