What would be the hp difference between the g5x3 and g5x4? Just trying to decid if i want to sacrifice hp for drivability. Any one have g5x4 experience and could comment on the drivability.

A perfect example would be the latest GMHTP article on the ported heads. They tested 6 different ported heads, some with sigificantly different flow numbers, but they all peaked at relatively the same RPM, again +/- 100 rpm.

Look at your HP/TRQ curve and determine your shiftpoints based on that data AND a gear calculator. I have one if you need it. You can also find one at www.f-body.org/gears.
