My car runs rich at WOT in high rpm's.

Autotap and a MAF Translator to help out WOT. that'd be the best bet IMHO. that way you can also adjust for mods later on down the line.

An MAFT is the best solution, but ported MAF ends may do the trick too.

A MAFT intercepts the MAF signal and modifies it to make the PCM think the engine is drawing more or less air than it really is. The PCM will then add or remove fuel to "correct" the mixture based on the amount of air it is reading going through the intake. This is obviously a very simplistic description, but you should get the idea.

I recently added a MAFT to my '99 Z28 to get rid of part-throttle pinging. Plus, when I go to do other things, I can now play with my mixture for part- and full-throttle.

I bought mine from Thunder Racing, but TByrne Motorsports also sells them. The going sticker price is $179.99 + shipping and any applicable taxes.

Nightclaw got it right on the head. it's simple to install, and pretty simple to tune with. just need some time, and autotap to scan the car to see how rich/lean it is.

well, you dont "need" a-tap for it.

it certainly does help, but you can trial test it.

make it a little leaner, and run 3 times. keep doing that till your ET sucks
