I have a few ?'s an the air box mod.
I realize it's done in conjunction with a "free mod" list.
Is that the radiator core I see? ... And if so isn't that going to heat up your in coming air charge? ... Do you have any before/after AIT specs related to the "Free Ram Air mod"? ... When the cooling fans run, is there any effect on flow through the filter due to the air draw through the rad?
I ask all these ?'s because I sealed my Pontiac ram air hood to the air box. I felt that if I could pressurize my air box I might see a gain!

Exactly.
That is the radiator core and no it does not effect the air temp at highway speeds. The fans have no interpherance either.
the blue cuppling if you will; is from a local truck shop; they sell it an dit is actualy rather expensive. 30.00 per foot. <img src="images/icons/shocked.gif" border="0">

I realize the incoming air isn't going across the rad and picking up heat like a heat exchanger. ... The set up just looks to me (IMHO) as though it could pick up radiant heat from the top tank area. I suppose at highway speeds it wouldn't be as much a concern as at street performance.
I take it you car is a Camaro? With that big *** hole in the front grill? ... That hole does look like it could put some serious air pressure on the front of the rad! Is there room in front of the rad to add a baffle to channel the air up to the air box? ... Sorta like a cold air mod!

I just saw that Brian. They want $50 though. The standard Baker is $25. The SLP one looks cool though. Also no trimming with an exacto knife either. I want a blue Baker though. If the SLP came in colors I would stick with them. Let me know if you get it.
