engine bore?
If you in fact have a 98' style block, the absolute MOST you can hone it is 0.0050" before you'll start getting too thin on the cylinder liners. The early (97-98) LS1 blocks had super thin liners. If that's the case, you'll need a 3.903" piston, as the stock bore is 3.898".

So you can safely bore a '99 .01 over, making the bore 3.898+.01 = 3.908. ?
I have a 99 and will be running about 10 psi. I just want a big enough bore to fit the smallest forged pistons that seems to be available which are 3.905. Will this be safe or do I need to resleeve?
