I have tried to get some facts on the 2001+ models having less timing. Everything and everyone I talk to dealer wise and so forth tells me they don't think they changed it. My belief is there was a change when they put the truck cam in. I typicaly get 25.5* @ 5900-6000rpms, w/ 0 K/R at WOT with my 2001. But I can only get 91 octane at the pump..
