Juggernaut cam? Too big?
I dunno if I spelled that wrong. But I believe LG makes a cam called the G5XX or Juggernaut cam. Is there anyone on this board running this cam on a 347? I have -4 cc valve reliefs. My heads are 62.6cc chambers. I'm going to call LG tomorrow but I am thinking of going with this cam over my current cam. Depends if I also have to buy springs. Anyways any info would help. And if it's too big go ahead and tell me lol. This is going in a mustang that will be driven on the street but I also want the sickest setup I can have for the track using what I have.

i am using the 921 comps and as far as i know lg has to install this cam but because of the fact that its not really meant to be street driven it might be better for them to install and tune but i would ask bobby or anthony just to make sure.

Well I can't have them install it. So will they not sell it to me?

Yeah just got off the phone with them and they said they have to install it. And that the G5X4 is actually smaller number wise than what I have. Guess I'll stick with this for now. Maybe go up there down the road and have one put in.

Yeah I know that. I would love to run that cam but I am in no position to shell out the money for the labor when I can do it myself. I can understand their concerns though.

LG and their secret cams..lame bobby1 have you tried a different dyno to see if the numbers match? I have a friend that spent 8k on a motor at their shop and while the motor does run well they told him it made 440rwhp but once he got back to tulsa and dynoed it he only made 420 after he had it retune to be safe. he aslo had several other problems with their service. Although they attempted to make things right they failed.
