Default Imortant car cover question

I purchaseda Noah car cover that is moisture resistant however I noticed after the first rain storm that when i removed the cover the car was very wet not soaked but extremely wet. Is this normal? or did I get sent and indoor cover by mistake? I ordered the cover that should protect from light snow and rain it was like 200 bux or something I think from california covers any input?~?

The keyword is "light". When I had to keep my z28 outside, I bought an Evolution 4 (I think) cover that had four layers to it. Drizzle and snow didn't get through, but thunderstorms and snowmelt did. The cover should be "breatheable" to let any moisture underneath evaporate, but you'll have a lot of tiny water spots on the car where the dimples in the cover were.

So to answer your questions, yes, it's normal, and no, you didn't get "taken".
