Default paging Roughhammer...or anyone else who has done this..

Cutting your airbox. Does this help much and if not doing this would a ws6 raised box fit under a z28/SS?

---also if ya' got time, any tips on how to do it?

Ws-6 fit under my brothers firehawk hood.It has less hieght than a ss hood.I have heard it would even work on a stock hood.Once you install it just put some lotion or toothpaste on the high spot then ease the hood down.Check the lotion to see if it was rubbing and if so was it just because of the lotion.

Yes, opening up the bottom help SS's.

The SS hood is pretty restrictive as far as Ram Air hood go.

Another down fall to them is the long tortuous path to the air box in the hood gets heated up by the sun even further downgrading the SS hoods ability to make HP over a stock hood.

The FRA mod will increase more hp than having the Ram Air induction.

A fast times set up will increase it even more.

The WS6 lower box sits up pretty high. Be careful buying a part that wont fit. Any way for you to check it out BEFORE you buy it?
