Default problems after plugs installed

well today i changed my sparkplugs out for some colder plugs.(for nitrous)have them gaped at .37 ,and when i put it all bact together when its in gear it wants to die, like mabe the idals to low or somthing...when it was apart i had the batterie disconected the hole time i was working on it and thought that mabe the computer reset it self and had to re-learn everything, well ive been driving arround all night and still no difference...any ideas

Any misfires? (Flashing SES light)

You may just need to redo the idle relearn procedure. I don't have that info handy right here, you might try a search on it.

i did all that and same problem...just seems to ideal to low. if i just touch the gas and bring it up 100 rpms its ok....should i try and set ideal higher.....the plugs just might be to cold...i just put a new set in, thinking mabe i got a bad plug...and its doing the same thing

Rob,
What are you using for plugs? NGK TR6, Autolight 105? I know some people have had problems with the Autolights under idle situations. I have an M6 trans and run with the autolights and they work great for me. Just another idea for you to check into

they are autolites 103's

I had the same problem with the 103s, I changed them to tr6s and the idle is perfect and it runs great.I think the 103s are to cold for auto.

I used the autolites-same problem <img src="gr_sad.gif" border="0">
Switched to TR6's gapped at .38 and problem gone <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0">

yeah, thanks guys, ill be changing them shortly when i get a chance....not like there that easy to change(i hate changing plugs in this car)
