I would say the pp ls6 for the budget.

Or the AFR 205's for unlimited budget.

The Dart 205s perform very well and have a great price.

Damn near untouchable in the bang-for-the-buck department. If youre on a budget, these are the heads to look into.

Darts are relatively cheap if wanting aftermarket castings.
Or look at the sponsors:
PRC, Livernois, etc.

PRC stage 2.5 5.3 ltre heads are the best bang for the buck IMO. I have terminator heads now and they arent any better from what I've seen on the dyno so far.

I agree they seem to be good on the dyno. Maybe this Spring will show the true difference on the track. And for what it's worth, I saw one REALLY impressive Terminator dyno graph with a WIDE torque curve.

Screw the dyno and the peak numbers everyone wants to talk about. I hope the Terminators show some difference either at the track, or as daily drivers. If for no other reason than to justify the additional cost.

Or Texas Speed is going to get an ear full. The numbers they posted are astronomical compared to mine.

It might just be that the cam doesn't match the head's dynamics

It was a custom grind with the entire setup taken into consideration. Desired compression, rear end gears, car weight shifting , you name it. I didnt spec the cam it was done by the builder and cam company who are very well trusted on here.

I'll post in the dyno section when I get it. I dont want to hijack this thread anymore than I have. Lifter pre-load might be a factor.
