The stage 2.5 5.3L PRC heads will be the best bet for the 224 cam in terms of cost and gains involved.

1199 plus shipping, Assembled with the PRC dual springkit....even cheaper if assembled with 918's or 1000 with no springs.

220cc runner with the 5.3L head versus the larger runner LS6's.....314cfm through a 220cc runner at .600 lift and 11.25:1 compression will make for a wicked street/strip car

these are the heads jon rec.to me when I ordered.I cant wait to get them,i too have a 224cam;I also added the powerbond pulley.Hope they come in tommorrow

The TSP 5.3 stage 2.5 are what I'm looking at. I just wish I didn't have to pay sales tax on them.......
Got any incentives going???? Maybe an install and tune deal if I drive out there from Ft. Worth???

Between the 2.04 and 2.02 what valve size would you suggest with a GTP420 cam?
226/226 .591/.591 112+2.

I was thinking 2.02 to keep the velocity up plus less shrouding.

Are these heads milled any? I'd like to be able to reuse my 7.4" push rods.
