FAST 90/90 gains
What kind of horsepower gains would you all expect to see with a FAST 90 mm throttle body and lsx intake setup on a ls1 with heads(PRC ls6), cam(232/228), and lt headers?
Would the gains be worth the power or is there a better way to gain some power without changing the current mods?

Thats actually more than I had expected to hear. I plan to do the harmonic balancer/underdrive pulley along with or soon after my heads and cam install. I really just want to get 400-425 RWHP from the heads/cam. If I could get up to 450 RWHP with the FAST intake/throttle body and the balancer i'd be very pleased.

Honestly, just stick with an LS6 intake and a good ported tb. Price doesn't justify the gains. FAST 90/90 work real well on big inch strokers not 346's with small port heads. Just throwing in my .02.

I had my Z06 dyno'ed with ls6 intake and TB and 2 weeks later fast 90/LS2 and actually gained 8RWHP and lost 2RWTQ. My car has 228/232 cam, AFR 205, LT, etc. I don't know if I would do it again on a 346!!

do what I did, find it used!
I bought my FAST AND my NW TB USED for $800 shipped...thats a steal in my book...
it was in perfect condition too...
other than that, I would be pissed if I spent upwards of $1500 for the combo and only got 10-15 HP...
I would have to disagree that is is only good for big cubes...MORE air is more air..period..(assuming you have the supporting mods)
I would only do it on heads/cam though....if you have the stock heads or w/e..LS6 is the only way to go...
thats my $0.02

The fast isn't a good bang for the buck.
I understand GM performance is coming out with a new L76 intake that should work very well on the LS1! Might be worth the wait.
