I have narrowed it down to FLP or SLP headers. Who has any experience with either of these headers? Any dyno results? Which one can you recommened. What about the Cats?

How can you narrow down choices on headers when you know nothing about your finalists?

I have TTS headers and have been very pleased with them. Got them on a GP with an awesome price.

Just for some hard info on this subject for you, we put SLP LTs on a friends ’00 M6 Z28 and he went from a 13.46 @105.10 to a 12.90 @110.72 with no other changes, same driver, same track, similar weather. I’ll be getting SLPs. If your car is lowered, or you plane to lower it, you’d better get FLPs though, because SLP do hang lower...

Their all good headers and similar on the dyno but the SLP's are much harder to install.

I'm an FLP fan personally. I love the snug fit, ability to swap cats in and out, power gains, etc. I gained 20 RWHP at peak, but my average HP and TQ gains throughout the curve were awesome. Deep 12's with paper tags is awesome!

Dont you have to take the torque arm off the trans and pull the trans to one side so they fit nicely??

Thats what I've always heard

Nope, all ur have to do is unbolt the crossmember (4 bolts i think) and pry the tranny over an inch or so, easy easy easy install. i havent installed any flp's but i can asure u that it can not be much if any easier to install, ( the slp's slide right in, how much easier does it get????!

He never said they were hard to get in.
He said "just for some HARD INFO"

That was me that said they were hard to install The hot rod shop I go to won't install the SLP headers anymore cause they are to labor intensive, that's why I posted that. I have no personal experience with the SLP headers so I can't confirm, or deny how hard or easy they are to install. According to these guys, it's a piece of cake though. I do know the FLP's are pretty easy.

The best headers are the ones you can find in stock.. I have been waiting for my SLP's for over a month now and I don't know of anybody who has the FLP's in stock either so if you can find a set one or the other I would grab it.

I just bought some FLP's from Year one in Ga. I caught the tail end of a 10% off everything. I got the complete set and 02 simms shipped to my door for $1290.00 and it only took five days to get them .
