Default Trouble codes...HELP

I am getting a P1416. I have no idea why. My mods are 4"Mufflex, 3.73 gears, TCI converter, EGR, Ported MAF, IAT sensor relocation and silencer ears removed, and TBBypass. My baby feels like it loads up with fuel when get the code. If I blip the throttle it clears for a moment. Please help, it doesnt happen all the time. It also seems like it only happens when the weather is warm...for Delaware... <-My girl

P1416 is right bank air injection problem, check hose and connections to check valve from air shut off valve(diaphragm on drivers side) if not the problem maybe check valve is faulty. PCM looks at o2 sensors to see if air pump is working ok so you may have a bad passenger side o2.

Hey LS1derfull. I havent touched my air pump so I hope nothing is wrong there, but I do have 4" mufflex so I think my rear O2 on the passenger side might be reading wrong. I'll check everything to see whats wrong. Also my air pump hollers at me sometimes if its cold in the morning, you think maybe it could be going TU?

Thanx

LS1lover, if your airpump itself was going you would have p1415 dtc also, thats why i said to check only passenger side of air system. Mufflex shouldnt have affected rear o2 unless install damaged sensor, check o2 sensor with scan tool to see if its lazy or broken. Checkvalve should only work in one direction

hehe.. I feel like a broken record for all these P1416 responses. More than likely you have a bad passenger side check valve. Very common problem. P1415 for bank 1 valve. These are pretty cheap and I've had one go bad myself. I would say if it were anything else, you would have other codes as well. Wanna be 100% sure? Swap valves from side to side and keep watch of the codes. I think they are like $12-15 at napa.
