Old thread yes but still a current question Please see below.

$300 for LS6 intake, $650 for cam & matching spring kit, $400 for cheapo headers & Y pipe, add another $150 for miscellaneous things, $350 to $500 for tuning depending on if its a mail order or dyno tune.

Around $1,800 to $2,000 if you do the wrenching.

Add another $1,200 to $2,000 if a shop is doing the wrenching for you.

Of course it can easily be more with higher quality headers. & supporting bolt on's. New oil pump & timing set are nice to do too when doing this.

Norris Motorsports does excellent quality work. I've had both my 91 RS & 99 TA at Norris and it's an excellent shop.

engine wise a decent little cam with matching vlave springs. Here is the big one 243 heads and port them yourself super easy to get 300cfm get the heads milled for higher compression and a thinner head gasket. If it's a daily I wouldn't go with a super high lift cam. And for the converter 2800stall circleD is the way to go it's worth it really brings everything together. This will be kinda expensive because most likely you will need lifters pushrods gaskets probably a new timing chain to be safe. It would definitely make more then 400 though
