Default Clear out Install--URGENT!!!!!

I have everything unbolted and ready to but I can't seem to manage the factory "yellow" lense system out of its compartment. All the screws are out and it moves around freely but I can't seem to get it out of there. It's like it is too big too come out? Help! Thanks!

Remove the BUMPER?!? Are you high? Dude, put the crack pipe down! lol

Remember to manipulate, not man-handle them out. Well, some man-handling ofcourse. I cracked the first one getting it out. Second was much easier.

Here's a thread you can check. Also think there is something at www.installuniversity.com

Hi again;

As I mentioned before, I had the dealer install my clear corner lenses, and it took them all of 31 minuets. THEY DID NOT REMOVE MY BUMPER, as I recall they removed the headlight bracket, and slid the headlamp foward, and then went in from the bottom of the car in front of the front tire.

They had the lenses out in no time, so I guess what I am saying is that there must be some simple thing you are overlooking. I think the lenses were attached at 3 points, 2 of them I believe he got from the bottom, and one from the top of the car.

Good luck, I know you will get it, and they will look great once there in.

Yea I finally got them...just had to "man handle" the body pieces a little bit. No big deal. Just didn't realize you had to be so rough!

xSSelerate;

WELL, how do they look? dramatic change on the SOM color, I do not have the "crystal clear" lenses, just the "clear" that is they are more opaque than yours.

On my Z28 the clear corners broke off the never ending sea of orange in the front end. It seemed to complement the headlamps more.

JMHO

Yea they look incredible! Very nice touch on the SOM. I got the diamond cut clears from procarparts.com and boy are they clear. Looks like I have a couple of diamonds underneathe my headlights . I would recommend this "modification" to anyone.
