For comparison, I just got 35 mpg on a 260 mile trip, of course I was drafting an 18 wheeler most of the way <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0"> I have a very aggressive cam and stage 2 heads, all the boltons and wider tires than you.

My 98 gets 12.x MPH summer and 11.X MPH Winter. Ok.. I drive agressively and that is purely around town!
On the highway at about 70-75 MPH, it got 24.5 MPH.
That is with a powerdyne blower and 4.10 gears too.

You M6 guys don't count.
I get about 14 MPG as well.
I have a cam, 4000 stall, heavy foot, 3.42's and an A4. My AF ratio is also perfect.
I know that several people who have a bad MPG have gotten it fixed with custon tuning. A 2 to 3 MPG increase on a convertered A4 is normal.

Well I might be getting H/C/Holley I soon with custom tuning so hopefully this will fix the problem. I don't ask for much, but 12 sucks!

With the mods in the sig, I'm getting 15.68 MPG average. 13.81 was the minimum MPG, 17.83 was the maximum MPG (I track gas usage on all my cars on my PDA).
