Default 400 RWH N/A - help me get there on stock heads.

car is a 98 Z M6, 3.73's, LS6 intake, T1 cam, STOCK heads (and no plans to go ported as of yet), FLP's w/ no cats into a B&B Triflow, Whisper lid, home ported MAF, ported T/B, MSD wire w/ NGK TR 6's @ .038 (got a wet kit), aluminum flywheel, and a Denny's 3 1/2 alunimum HD driveshaft.
i wanna hit 400 rwhp (N/A) without porting the heads, or changing the cam. yesterday my car pulled 380.2 hp and 373 tq. i know an underdrive pulley will help, along with a cutout (last resort, rather port heads), and it sounds like custom tunning w/ LS1 edit will really help (stock tunning as of now).
any more tricks out there i'm missing?

There has been reports of all bolt on cars with the TR 224 / 112 cam and stock heads running REAL close to 400 RWH or a little over. Your first challenge is to be able to do that on 98 heads, they do not flow as well as say 1999 and up, they have different valves that are not as good. Good luck !

slap a Nitrous shot on it I've got stock heads a thunder racing cam 224/224 112lsa. flp long tubes no cats maft lid 150 shot and I'm not for sure what hp it is putting out but the car runs 9.301 @ 110mph in the 1000ft. I'm putting it on the dyno real soon to see what it does before the head work and bigger valves and sheet metal intake.

I am gonna have to call BS on that one Terry. That is a HUGE cam, and would be sufficated by stock heads. That would probably overcamming a stock headed motor. I'd have to see a graph. No flames, just facts

Glenn, bypassing that B&B Triflow will definately help. While it sounds great, it doesn't flow very well. I have seen a guy gain 13 rwhp on the dyno uncapping his car w/ a B&B. Pulley's are a hit or miss on the dyno. It will show up at the track for sure, but some people don't see any peak gains on the dyno from a pulley. Usually you'll see the gain in the mid range. Tuning will definately help. Port your throttle body.

The owner is on the board, he can post if he'd like. The 229v2 camshaft is not for everyone, but it idles as well as my 220 112ls camshaft did. Very easy to live with if you have PCM work and some gears. The car has bolt ons, 3.73s, stock flywheel, heavier rims, etc.

Terry isn't BS'ing I was there to pick up my car from MMS, and they had Parker's car w/ the MMS 229 cam on the dyno. Actually, when I was there, the highest they got was 417 rwhp. Maybe they tuned it a little bit more to get 420 rwhp.

Well then I stand corrected. Could you possibly get him to post a graph? I am curious to what it looked like. Low, midrange, peak, etc......

LS6 intake, tuning (not custom per say, but just some MAFT work), underdrive pulley, 3.42's, cutout or maybe dual cutouts, short belt, 16" wheels instead of 17's, etc, etc.
