U guys do realize that the TQ will drop once u lock the verter up?But the HP will go up.This cam looks good for ure but I sure would like to see it run threw a Y-pipe/interm. too

OPEN HEADER DYNO numbers r not the norm for testing stuff.I could only imagine what my car would put down threw OPEN Dyantechs?

Oh no I'm not saying I didnt dyno my car thew a cutout.There's no denying that Terry.

But lets face it,a OPEN header like a Hooker against my macs w/2.5in Y to a stock intermed pipe to a cutout isnt the same thing.U know that come on man...

we are tweaking some tuning things, but it still runs GOOD <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0">

on the dyno, it was thru and open Y pipe, not open headers as I stated in my original post....Louis later told Lou that is was thru his custom Y pipe <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0">

and I have a cutout on the car so I would say it will do damn near the same thru it.

overall I am very happy with the results...now we just have to tweak it in even better <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0">

12.4 on stock GSCs at Ennis

with some stickies and a decent 60 ft time, car is in teh 11's <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0">

not too shabby for cam only (no heads ) huh?

what kinda 60 and what MPH.

I think people will quickly jump in and say 12.4s are stock engine times even with a not too good 60ft

what times did you run before?

never ran it stock....car has 3.23 gears and the A4 ...

1.98 60 ft 12.42 at 112.5
1.94 60 ft 12.45 at 112.3 (hit rev limiter when i manually shifter from 1st to 2nd)

the car will run 11's with a 1.7X 60 ft, and it is very doable with stickier tires (stock gears too)

JS....yeah I went with the Yank ST 3200 as I didnt want a real LOOSE converter....with more stall it would be quicker yet....but I just dont want a sloppy one <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0">

I have some 315 BFG drag radials.....next time I will strap them on and hammer it out of the hole and see what she does <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0">

It's my hi-perf. "SS" cam. <img src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" border="0"> It's the same hi-perf. cam that's in my '01 GMC 5.3L. I'm going to finish up some other mods later this week and bust off my 11.xx this weekend! It'll either be at Tx. Motorplex or Red River Raceway just outside of Shreveport. If the Motorplex is going to be like it was two weeks ago I'll just let the ricers duke it out, especially for $25 for a measly T&T. <img src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" border="0"> Once I get 11's w/ stock-internals it's heads/cam time! <img src="graemlins/fluffy.gif" border="0" alt="[Fluffy]" />
