Default What do you think of the SLP cam?

214/222 .559/.566 111

anybody has it or heard of this SLP cam? the cam package came with their "matching" valve springs and steel retainers and keepers, they didn't mention when to replace springs so I guess they should last atleast 50K miles? LOL

How do you know that it is on a 111 LSA?

It would produce a lot of end power power, split pattern is good for stock exhaust manifold and stock cats, but overkill if you have headers & ORP or hi-flow cats.

I asked the SLP tech on the phone about the cam specs. 111 is the centerline. The LSA is 114. <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0">

Sounds like a good cam, not a BIG one, but it won't give you any trouble.

TR 224 cam is a pretty good cam. I get a little shake when warm at 950 rpm, but I have a bad cylinder.

I have ISKY 295D Springs.

With your exhaust I move to a single pattern cam, or at least a tighter pattern like a 216/220
