Is it true that Pat Musi's Firebird drag car has a 800hp 3 stage nitrous system?

I don’t know anything about his drag car, but I do know that he released what I believe was the first direct port N2O system for LS1s that was constructed using a stock LS1 intake about 2 years ago or so. I thought it was up to 500 horse jetting...

I remember reading about it in some GM mag. They dyno tested it on a T/A, I don’t remember what jetting they used though.

Thanks but, I want people who saw him on Horsepower saying his car's Nitous adds 800hp to confirm what I said in school.

Im sure that is true on his green firebird drag car. We also use a 3 stage nitrous kit on our Pro-mod 68 Camaro 300 1st staged, 300 2nd stage, 200 on our 3rd a total of a 700 all together. And gues what it only adds about 8 to 9 .10's of a sec. N/A we run an 4.90 and on the spray ran an best of a 4.18, 1/8 mile

What Pat said is his car makes like 1100 hp all motor then with the Nitrous its like 1900hp.
So, Its 700hp big deal. I know i saw it on tv.
If you saw it on horse power TV confirm it please.

Most likely he does. My cousin has a 63 Split Window Corvette Coupe. He races in the Pro-Mod class, his motor is a 704 CI with a 3 Stage System totaling 700 HP of nitrous. Just for the record, my cousin has sent the Musi team home several times <img src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" border="0">

Ahhh...I remember the last time my '01 ran a 4.18....wait a sec, no I don't!!!

Vinny, Pat uses 3 stages that inject 1,000+ hp of nitrous into his 1,100 hp motor (that's about 2,100+ hp total) but most of the time he is on only 2 stages that are about 800 hp (1,900 hp total), that's all he needs for most of his competition. <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0">
