Default Those that have removed AC within

When you guys removed your AC did you also remove the bracket that holds the compressor? I removed mine and am wondering if that piece has some structural function on the block? If so I will throw the bracket back in. If not it stays off

Chris,

I can't add anything that hasn't already been said, but ... Like it or not, you are hardcore.

How do I define hardcore?

When you swap out your Manual for an automatic...
When you swap out your Stage I heads for Stage II heads...
When you remove your A/C and any other creature comforts that have mass...

Can't wait till the 2002 season starts and see what it brings you

Funny how all of the "hardcore" guys who remove their ACs all seem to live MUCH further north than I do

Seriously, how much weight does that get off of the car? Given where I live, and given a car that is mostly going to be a daily driver, I would have to see a *serious* improvement to consider this.
