Default 510 RWHP and 490 RWTQ from our 408.

We dynoed and retuned Mike's 408 C5 with 3.42 gears and the new 3" exhaust. The results, 510.4 RWHP and 490.1 RWTQ STD corrected and 499.3 RWHP and 479.4 RWTQ SAE corrected.

I will post the dyno runs later.

Now that is a perfect RPM range, torque and hp curve for a street car. I like it <img src="graemlins/gr_hail.gif" border="0" alt="[hail]" />

I want 510+RWHP-SAE out of this car, with the new intake Julio has prepared for it and bigger headers I should get the number easy. And for the record, these dyno numbers are with full exhaust through the mufflers,no cats.I got 30.0 MPG cruising in sixth gear at 80 mph with this car last week on a long trip, that was with 3.73 gears and the old less efficient exhaust. With the new exhaust the car idles smoother also.
