head bolts must be replaced, right from gm service manual:
Document ID# 322887
2000 Chevrolet Corvette
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Cylinder Head Installation (Left Side)
Tools Required
J 36660-A Torque Angle Meter
Caution: Wear safety glasses in order to avoid eye damage.
Notice: Clean all dirt, debris, and coolant from the engine block cylinder head bolt holes. Failure to remove all foreign material may result in damaged threads, improperly tightened fasteners or damage to components.
Important: Do not reuse the cylinder head bolts. Install NEW cylinder head bolts during assembly.
Do not use any type sealant on the cylinder head gasket, unless specified.
The cylinder head gaskets must be installed in the proper direction and position.

12560272 and 12560373 Are the part numbers for the two types of main cap bolts you will need to buy. The outer smaller opposing bolts can be re-used just be sure to dab some thread sealer on them. The factory bolts are torque to yield. You could buy arp main studs but that would require you have the bline line honed which costs more money. New factory replacement bolts should be more than strong enough.

In the main cap installation instructions straight from the shop manual there is no mention of replacing the main cap bolts. Only the head bolts and the crank pulley bolt. I think I will buy stock new bolts just to be safe since nobody really knows.

why would you have to have it line honed just replacing bolts with studs ?
