I'm trying to find out for sure if the 30# SVO injectors are rated at 43.5 like most injectors. For some reason I thought that I read that they were rated at a lower PSI once. Anyone know for sure?

Yes the svo as 99 percent of injectors, be it bosch, multitec whatever are rated at the industy standard of 43.5 psi. I too was leary but am fortunante enough to have a very good friend who does injector work for both gasoine and diesel engines for a living. Once i got my svo's i took them to him to check. They were verified at 30 lbs at 43.5 psi. My eyes nearly popped out when I saw the increase of fuel at 59 psi! I assume you know you will need a mass air translator to make these work correctly. As a guidline before you even start the car with your new 30's set it to 15%lean and tune from there. I was able to get mine to -1/0 lt trims and 910 o2 at wot with little effort. Good luck and enjoy.

Thanks Gene. Yes, I've been running them for a while now with a MAFT. I'm trying to figure out what numbers to use when I get my copy of LS1-edit. Were the injectors that you verified the ones with the red top?
Chris:
I couldn't remember the other number I'd seen but 39 sounds familiar. (I was thinking it was 36 for some reason). I hadn't seen it in years though. I thought it had something to do with Ford's application which ran at 30-something PSI (the Thunderbird maybe?). Anyway, where's your info coming from? Thanks for the response but apparently I'm still in the same boat.
