I am also thinking of a cut out. Is there any gain with it and is there a preferance as to the better manufacturer.

Default Making mods purchace today...need opinions

I am going to be buying some bolt on mods today and need a few opinions on if they are worth it. I have only had my SS for a couple of months now and am still very unfamiliar with the LS1 so any input would be greatly appreciated. Heres the list.
MTI Carbon fiber lid w/ K&N filter
SLP Smooth bellows
ASP Pully's...Is it really neccesary to have both of them?
160 thermostat....not sure about this one. Last 160 stat ran in my LT1 I could never get the interior temp very warm. And in my area thats not a plus!
Air temp module.....is the really needed?

Any other bolt ons anyone can think of. And will I need a MAF T for any of these mods? Check my sig for current mods(no real performance mods but it will give you an ideas for compadability)

Thanks in advance

MTI Carbon fiber lid w/ K&N filter Good Mod
SLP Smooth bellows Hrmm I don't know about this
ASP Pully's...Is it really neccesary to have both of them? Good Mod I have the MTI Power Pulley
160 thermostat.... It all depends where you live if you're in texas then get the 160 if you live in an area where it's normally cold then get the 180.

I would also consider:
Cutout
GMS MAF or Ported Maf

MTI Carbon fiber lid w/ K&N filter ....Looks and flows good. Dont it?

SLP Smooth bellows ..... I (personally)REALY need one of these, I like them and recomend them.

ASP Pully's, Is it really neccesary to have both of them?... ...HECK NO. only the crank pulley is necessary.

160 thermostat.......oh heck yea.. do the thermo AND a bottle of water wetter. These are NEED to items for modding an LS1.

Air temp module.....is the really needed? ...HuH? the SLP timing tricker? heck no. waste of money.

.....not ABSOLUTELY needed but it will help. I have one for sale for 120 bucks.

I hope that 150 shot is a wet shot, otherwise GOOD Luck the stock 99 Injectors are only 26 # injectors.

Yea its a wet shot. I am not to big on the dry shots, but its a personal preferance for me.
