That rasp would go away if you'd ditch the Borla. It has the WORST sound! I'm running the FLP's and ORP with my SLP dual/dual, and I don't have one bit of rasp. Installing the cats will kill the rasp as well, though.

I've got FLP's with ORP's and a B&B cat-back. I love the sound. Not too loud, and no rasp.

I too have FLP's, ORP and B&B cat-back. I didn't like the slight rasp at first, but then when I put the cats in, it was to quiet for me. So, 45 mins later no more cats

I have the SLP centermount exhaust so basically I have the dual/dual muffler, but 2-3hp having the cats on you won't notice; I didn't.

i noticed a power loss when i put my cats back on and capped up the borla it was decently slower...took it all off and faster again for the power i dont mind the sound just as long as i dont get in trouble with the local popo hehe

get a bulelt muffler on the intermediate pipe and do the restrictor plate mod and it gets all quiet but dam.. it triggers the SES light no matter O2 simms or not.. the bulet will take the tinny rasp away but the other mod should take away more of it if not all

You gained 11 rwhp and 23 rwtq on a bolton car with takin off FLP's cats?!?! I thought they flowed pretty damn well, unless that is you had a stroker of some kind. I wasnt aware they made that much diff with the Random Tech's cats, which come with FLP's if im not mistaken. Now if u were talkin bout MACS cats, then i woudnt think twice about that one lol

ohya dont be surprised to see smoke coming out of your muffler with no cats.. some people freak out.. its normal and happens spontaneously through hard driving with no cats.
