I use the NOS street octane boost but I don't feel a difference. The only reason I use it is because we only have 91 octane out here & I'm running a 100 dry shot so I need the boost. If I had 93 or 94 I wouldn't use it though.

Don't know what your mods are, but most people don't need high octane unless your gonna shoot nitrous or running a lot of boost. Octane boost didn't do squat for me accept set the SES light for rich bank <img src="gr_sad.gif" border="0"> .

More octane than what you need to supress pre-ignition and detonation is not only a waste of money, it will actually COST you HP.
For any of you wanting to try some race fuel, make sure it is unleaded (110 wouldn't be if that is motor octane.) Leaded fuel WILL foul your O2 sensors and also is not good for your cats if you still have them.

With my internally stock engine I found my best track times (11.56@115mph) with 93 octane. I tested extensively against VP CSP unleaded racing fuel (102.25 R+M/2 octane) and the 93 was clearly better for that engine.
Please note that there is a big difference between octane testing methods. Motor octane is always lower than research octane. R+M/2 is research + motor octane divided by 2 and is the method that you see at the pump. The 102.25 octane CSP that I mentioned above is only 96.6 when tested using the motor method (which actually is the more relevant method of testing.)
R(107.9)+M(96.6)/2=102.25

There is a common misconception that higher octane fuel is more powerful. This is totally false. Octane is a measure of stability. As far as energy available gasoline, is gasoline, is gasoline.
