Just wondering what the Hooker LT's are giving as a gain over MACS.
I am in the market for Headers now and I'd like to know what some LS1's are doing with them and what gain anyone has seen.
All I have is a lid...nothing else...but I am starting w/ headers and gonna go w/ OR pipe and no cats.
Thanks <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0">

There was only one dyno that I’ve seen posted. The gains were very small. There might be more promising results as more people buy and dyno them.
Do a search under the user name "Freak" for Hooker dyno results, I beleive that was his name...

Wow! Was this on a stockish car or a H/C car? That's a ton of power. I'm guessing it was through ORPs?

I saw that guys reported dyno # but he was running lean....and well that robs you of power w/ KR etc.
Lean gives you power however, w/ KR it pulls out your timing thus reducing power. I know this all too well w/ my detonating lemon ls1 I got rid of back in Oct 00.....via the "lemon law"
Stock 00 Trans Am lemon....dyno'd 254 overall corrected at the wheels it was an A4. <img src="gr_sad.gif" border="0">

Not to discount your gain, but I doubt that’s going to be the norm for stock internal motors and using cats. Much of your gain was probably because you already had a cam and the manifolds were a big restriction to that cam, I'm sure.
