Another Hooker owner saying go Hooker!
I still can't get on that "loudmouth" wagon. That is a good way to make a late model car sound like a '74 Ford, 1 ton dually, with glasspack mufflers. And sticking a "bullet" (glasspack) muffler in to quiet down the exhaust you just bought, is just crazy. Why buy an exhaust that is suppose to flow better to gain performance, only to add a restriction (bullet muffler) to it!

Where is the cheapest place to but it from, some people says Jegs sells it for $270 shipped?

I drove around with Macs, ORP, and the Loudmouth for about 4 months. The sound was so god awful, I was to embarassed to bring the car over 2K rpm's. I have formally named rasp between 2000-2500 the ATOMIC FART. Why? Because that's exactly what it sounds like. Maybe a wounded duck is a better choice of words. You think I am kidding? I am not, I am dead serious. The rasp of straight through exhaust on an LS1 is hideous. Unfortunately the alum. block and different firing order doesn't make for a pleasant sound without cats and mufflers on these motors.
On cammed cars the sound is somewhat changed, and doesn't sound "as bad". But if you own a stock motor LS1, I would definatley reconsider the Loudmouth/ORP setup.

This guy is 100% RIGHT!!! LS1's sound SICK(in a bad way) with off-road pipes through most aftermarket exhaust. From what I've heard, only Hooker sounds somewhat good with that set-up. Borla, LM, Flowmaster, I don't think so?! Just run cats for the street(sounds WAY better) and orp's for the track only.

I want to point out again that the Corsa sounds very, very good with off-roads and headers. But I do not know how much that is affected by the big cam and extra cubes. It is a very different sound from the Borla with this type of setup, which kind of sounds like you are rasping your lips through an amplifier.
The Hooker is definitely going to be cheaper, though.

I assume the 2OTL means 2 out the left like on the 98's SS/WS6? I am sure it sounds great but I like the dual outlets for the WS6 rear ground effect. Maybe I could cut out the "Kazoo" i.e Flowturd and weld the Hooker muff in place. I am just short on cash after cam, headers, and Z06 wheels and tires

The ’98 WS6 had one single 3” tip out the left. This is two (2) smaller tips ...“on the left” (OTL). It really doesn’t look bad on T/As at all. I was only able to find one picture before ordering mine. I’ll have to see if I can get someone to help me post pics after I install mine. Unlike some cars, the bumper cut-outs on a T/A aren’t really shaped like a tail pipe so it really doesn’t look weird at all.
I’m kinda glad it’s not too popular on T/As though. It will give my car a distention.

I got my Hooker catback from Advanced Auto parts. They don't charge you shipping, and you can usually get the catback within 2 days of ordering. I can't remember the part # right off the top of my head, but make sure you walk in there with a part #. Most of those fat lazy parts counter guys won't look it up for you, and just tell you they don't carry it(they tried that with me). Bring the part # in, and have them order it.

SLP 2OTL through ORPs. Great sound, no rasp.
